CPS receives a check back for Box Tops, Campbell's Soup labels, and Tyson Chicken labels. Each class has a collection box for these or you can send in with your child. Please save these!
On the last Friday of every month, children are permitted to wear jeans and a jeans day t-shirt.

This is the day after the PTO meeting where items are available for purchase during each lunch. The typical menu and prices are:
Nachos and cheese ... $1
Root Beer float ... $1
Lollipops ... 4/$1

The volunteer workshop is on the first Wednesday of the month, which is early release day, from 8-11 in the Parsh Hall. You are able to obtain hours by aiding the teachers with tasks such as cut/paste/staple/assemble and many other projects for the classrooms.
Local eateries give the school back a percentage of the sales generated during a specific time frame that is designated for CPS. This is a great opportunity to grab a bite and socialize.
A collection and gathering of artwork from every child attending CPS, which is displayed in the cafeteria for all to see. Usually takes place in April or May.
One week of selling books and novelty items that benefit the library. Usually scheduled in November.
A gathering of new families to CPS to disperse information and partake in a question and answer session all while enjoying brunch.
First day of school get together to talk and relieve any nervousness.
There are two uniform sales a year. First one is put on only by PTO and is in January right after we switch to wearing pants only instead of shorts. The second one is for everyone to purchase, sell or swap uniforms and textbooks for the upcoming school year. This takes place on the last day of school each year.
Please save at home and send in with your child(ren). We have collection boxes in the classrooms K-5, or you can bring them to the office. CPS receives two cents per packet for recycling.

Drink Coke products, help CPS PTO. Log on to My Coke Rewards and register today! See the flyer for details. Save Coke lids or labels from the cardboard boxes, and we receive Coke Reward points, which we have currently been using for teachers’ wishlists. Each class has a collection box.

Great Lakes Scrip is back! No more sending home papers to fill out or sending in checks. Everything can be done online at www.GLScrip.com. You must sign up for Presto Pay. This does take a couple of days to become effective, so plan accordingly. Once you set up your family account and submit your Scrip orders, you will receive your Scrip cards within a few days.
An Example of Scrip: If you purchase a $100 gift card to Macy’s , the school will get back $10.00. We will split that with the purchasing family @ 50%. You would then receive $5.00 (minus your percentage of shipping cost) in an account that can be used one of three ways:

This after school program provides private music lessons in piano, guitar, voice, drums, and violin. A portion of the proceeds from lessons go to support CPS. For more information, log on to the First Coast School of Music website or call 904.236.9700.
