- Volunteer Coordinator (Job Description)
The PTO is looking for someone (or two people) to help with this position. Commitment includes:
- Running the volunteer workshops once a month
- Logging volunteer hours (I did this once a month)
- Attending PTO meetings for parents to sign up for volunteering
- Coordinate volunteers for Festival to give Booth Chairs
- Working with CPS parents, teachers and PTO to fill volunteer oppurtunities
This position would be better filled with two people: maybe one to do the volunteer workshops and one to record hours. Recording hours can be done at home and on the weekends. Heather Fleming would be glad to help with festival tasks for the spring.

Volunteer Builder and Time Tracking
Beginning October 10, 2009 you will sign up for events and log your volunteer hours through Volunteer Builder. If you did not receive a registration email, please contact Susan Hagaman at hagaman4@bellsouth.net. A training session is scheduled for Thursday October 15 at 6:30 pm in the CPS computer lab. Please continue to log-in at the office to receive a badge and record your presence on campus.
Cafeteria Volunteers
Volunteers are always needed in the cafeteria. Available times are 8 am to 11 am and 11 am to 1 pm. A sign-up sheet is on the cafeteria door, or just show up to help.
